PC အသုံးပြုသူတွေ စောင့်မျှော်နေတဲ့ Intel 8th Generation Core Processors တွေကတော့ ယနေ့ပဲ ထွက်ရှိလာပါပြီ။ အားလုံးထင်ထားသလို Coffee Lake Processors တွေမဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ Kaby Lake ကို Upgrade လုပ်ထားတဲ့ "Kaby Lake Refresh" Processors တွေပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

                15W U-Series Mobile Processors တွေနဲ့ စတင်မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပြီး၊ Performance ပိုမြင့်တဲ့ Desktop သုံး 8th Gen Core Processors တွေကတော့ ယခုနှစ်ကုန်ပိုင်းလောက်မှ မိတ်ဆက်မယ်လို့ ခန့်မှန်းရပါတယ်။ 8th Gen U-Series Processors တွေကတော့ Core i7-8650U, Core i7-8550U, Core i5-8350U နဲ့ Core i5-8250U တို့ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အသေးစိတ်ကို အောက်ပါပုံမှာ ကြည့်ရှုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

                အခု မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့တဲ့ 8th Generation Processors တွေမှာ အရင် 7th Gen Kaby Lake Architecture ကိုပဲ ဆက်လက်အသုံးပြုထားပြီး၊ Intel က “Kaby Lake Refresh” လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ Kaby Lake အတိုင်း 14th nanometer Plus Manufacturing Technology နဲ့ ထုတ်လုပ်သွားမှာပါ။ Sky Lake ကော Kaby Lake ကော 14nm နဲ့ပဲ ဆိုတော့ Intel အနေနဲ့ Generation သုံးခုလောက် Microprocessor Architecture အသစ် မသုံးနိုင်သေးတဲ့သဘောပါ။

                အရင် U-Series Processors တွေတုန်းက 2 Cores, 4 Threads နဲ့ဖြစ်ပေမယ့်၊ ယနေ့မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့တဲ့ Intel 8th Gen U-Series Processors လေးမျိူးမှာတော့ 4 Cores, 8 Threads နဲ့ ဖြစ်သွားပြီး၊ U-Series Chips တွေထဲမှာ ပထမဆုံး Quad Core အသုံးပြုလာတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ U-Series သုံးတဲ့ Ultrabook တွေအနေနဲ့ အရင်ထက် စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်ကောင်းလာဖို့ ရှိပါတယ်။ Maximum Clock Speed က 4.2 GHz အထိ ရရှိလာပေမယ့်၊ Base Clock Speed ကတော့ အရင်က (2.8GHz) ထက် နည်းသွားကာ၊ 1.9GHz ပဲ ရှိတာ တွေ့ရပါတယ်။

                Intel ရဲ့ ပြောကြားချက်အရပဲ အခု 8th Gen Core Processors တွေဟာ 4K Video တစ်ခုကို သုံးမိနစ်အတွင်း Render အပြီးလုပ်နိုင်သလို၊ Lightroom မှာ ဓာတ်ပုံပြင်ရင် အရင်ထက် 28% ပိုမြန်လာမယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။ ဒီ Results တွေက တကယ်ဟုတ်ရဲ့လားဆိုတာကတော့ Benchmark Results တွေကိုပဲ စောင့်ကြည့်ရမှာပါ။

                နောက်လာမယ့် 8th Generation Coffee Lake ကို 14++nm Architecture နဲ့ ထုတ်လုပ်သွားမှာဖြစ်ပြီး၊ Cannon Lake ကတော့ 10nm နည်းပညာနဲ့ ဖြစ်လာမယ်လို့ပဲ လောလောဆည် သိရပါသေးတယ်။

                အသစ်စက်စက် Intel 8th Gen Core U-Series Processors သုံးထားတဲ့ ပထမဆုံး Laptop နဲ့ Ultrabook တွေကို ကွန်ပျူတာကုမ္ပဏီတွေအနေနဲ့ အခုနှစ်၊ လာမယ့် စက်တင်ဘာလလောက်မှာတင် စတင်ထုတ်လုပ်ပေးသွားဖို့ ရှိတယ်ဆိုတော့ သိပ်မကြာခင်မှာ 8th Generation Processor သုံး Laptop တွေကို စျေးကွက်တွင်း တွေ့မြင်လာရဖို့ ရှိပါတယ်။
